Mo’ Mojito Acoustic Duo was thrilled to play for Mount Hospital’s Christmas Soiree 2020. The rooftop view was breath-taking, and we played Christmas carols as well as popular classics for the audience.
Despite the challenges the medical industry especially faced this year, there was even more thanksgiving to match this Christmas. We felt incredibly blessed to me a part of their celebration this year.
You both have made our wedding even more beautiful and all our guests were well-entertained 🙂 Thank you both so much!
We played for the beautiful wedding of Darren and Kay at Sandalford Wines on 13th March 2020. It was held at the newly furbished Estate Room. An intimate celebration but a vibrant one, toasting to the love of Darren and Kay. We played for the canapes, their bridal entrance, the bridal waltz and also opened the dance floor for the evening.
The bridal entrance song was ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’ arranged as a breezy bossa so the party could dance their way in. We tapered the music down to an instrumental as we invited the bride and groom to continue walking towards the rustic barrel which held their gorgeous cake. As they were seated, we threw in a swingin’ Come Fly with Me to celebrate their new beginnings!
The two had met via an online dating service, Tinder! So many thanks extended to those who helped set up the apps for these two. But truly love found its way so easily. Through their speeches we witness their love and genuine-ness towards each other and their families. Right after their thank yous, the groom requested for a very apt ‘Memories’ by Maroon 5 – a toast also to all those that couldn’t be with us that evening.
We played ‘Tonight I Celebrate My Love For You’ by Peabo Bryson and Roberta Flack. The. Perfect. Tune for their first dance. ‘Perfect’ by Ed Sheeran drew the guests and their partners unto the dance floor.
To keep those vibes upbeat, we played ‘I Feel Good’, ‘Sway’ and other groovy tunes.
But throughout the evening, noticing the guests included many guests who were mandarin and cantonese-speaking, we played a variety of tunes ranging from Teresa Teng classics to contemporary duets by Lee Hom.
Thank you so much for having us Darren and Kay, and Sid for recommending us! We wish you an amazing journey as husband and wife sealed in your beautiful love.
Special thanks to husband and wife photography and makeup duo Sidlefaye for the stunning images.
We were invited to play some live music for Mount Hospital Christmas Soiree. It was thrown to extend gratitude to the practice managers and medical secretary in the hospital. A heartwarming event of thanksgiving, we performed festive tunes and familiar standards.
‘It was festive, jazzy… perfect!’
‘Your music was so good, everyone was asking where are these guys from?’
It was a beautiful evening and everyone loved you guys! Will certainly use you again!’
We had the pleasure and delight of flying over and playing for Vance and Elly as Mo’ Mojito Trio at Ritz Carlton, Singapore.
We were joined by alto saxophonist Teo Boon Chye as a trio. We played ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’ (‘Crazy Rich Asians’ version by Kina Grannis), and accompanied the groom Vance as he serenaded his bride Elly on ‘You and Me’ by Lifehouse.
We played a mix of Mandarin, and English covers as well as sweet standards, entertaining the lovely guests from Korea, Singapore, and more.
Thank you Vance and Elly for having us, their bestie Steven for recommending us. And last but never the least to Nate from Redkite Muisc for representing us. We had the best on the gig. And also a bit of after-party fun:…
We loved playing for Nadia’s birthday party at her beautiful home.
"Everyone loved your music. It was so good!'
We played and sang latin and jazz standards, as well as cool instrumentals for the evening. The highlight of the evening was Nadia’s duet performance of The Prayer (Andrea Bocelli/Celine Dion) with Didi, and a beautiful impromptu solo performance on Judy Garland’s Over the Rainbow.
It was such a pleasure having you both celebrate with us on Saturday. My husband says it was the best party we had since we moved here. So thank you!
Happy Birthday, Nadia! Thank you so much for having Mo’ Mojito, Nadia!
It was such a privilege playing for Aidan and Claire’s wedding at Empress at Asian Civilisations Museum in Singapore last weekend. We played their song choice ‘Fallen’ as their walk-in before rolling out an evening of swingin’ standards from the American Songbook, as well as mandarin classics like The Moon Represents My Heart and Sweetly from Teresa Teng. The night ended with songs from Queen, Michael Buble as well as a Shanghai Jazz anthems the crowd chorussed to. Thank you Aidan and Claire for having Mo’ Mojito double up and play for your beautiful wedding.
We performed as a solo and duo lineup at Jazushi Surry Hills, singing and playing jazz standards. Mo’ Mojito Acoustic Jazz Duo is available in both lineups for your event. Chat with us to find out more about your options.
It was a privilege playing for the Intel Group at Shangri-La Sydney. The event was held on Level 36 with a tremendous view. Our repertoire for the evening spanned across multi-lingual classics from Southeast Asia, as well as jazz standards from the American Songbook.
Thank you Redkite Music and MCI Group for having Mo’ Mojito Acoustic Jazz Duo.

A beautiful love doesn’t need much because it is already special. It was a privilege and pleasure playing for Barbara and Ian’s cocktail and reception at their back patio. We were surrounded by their families and friends, and their lovely 3 pups.
